Summary:
The Multi-skilled Maintenance Mechanic will perform all tasks necessary to maintain equipment and support operational performance. These tasks include corrective maintenance, the repair of equipment to its intended operating condition, and preventative maintenance to maintain optimal performance of equipment. In this role, you will use a variety of skills to support maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: Millwright, Machine Repair, Machining, Pipefitting, Sheet Metal, Welding, HVAC, Basic Electrical, Rigging, Vehicle Repair, Carpentry, Lubrication, and Painting. The Multi-skilled Maintenance Mechanic may also execute projects, which will include installing new equipment and making process changes to equipment or systems.

$31 per hour plus differentials and overtime

Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Journeyman status required.
Additional qualifications:
Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
Experience trouble-shooting mechanical and electrical systems.
Demonstrated ability to identify and repair mechanical and electrical equipment defects.
Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret piping and instrumentation drawings.
Able to use protective equipment, including safety shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, respiratory protection, hearing protection, face mask/covering where required, and other protective clothing based on job assignments/duties.
Able to work at heights and in confined/enclosed spaces.
Demonstrated understanding of process control principles and their application.
Computer literacy – knowledgeable/competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Proven ability to relate well in a people-oriented and team environment.
Demonstrated maturity and stability in a work environment.
