JOB DESCRIPTION

The Washington, DC office of Alston & Bird is seeking approval to hire temporary administrative support for a four-month period between May 1 – August 31 to support the summer associate program and the on-campus recruiting process.

The Temporary Attorney Hiring Assistant’s tasks will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Summer Program
  • preparing event invitations
  • maintaining event RSVPs
  • creating nametags
  • booking conference rooms
  • preparing orientation materials
  • working with conference services and multimedia on internal events and trainings
  • collecting work product evaluations and ensuring the database is maintained and current
  • collecting materials for the Hiring Committee
  • attending events and trainings as needed
  • other duties as required
  • On-Campus Process:
  • data entry, including entering hundreds of resumes into viRecruit
  • creating and maintaining candidate files
  • updating departmental charts
  • scheduling callback interviews
  • assisting with candidate visits
  • hosting Zoom interviews
  • preparing OCI binders
  • booking conference rooms
  • preparing files for Hiring Committee meetings
  • preparing offer and rejection letters
  • other duties as assigned
