You will join our operations department based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in the position of: 

Sales & Operations Analyst

About the Role:

The Sales & Operations Analyst plays a critical role in management of product availability and optimization of product allocation, supporting the EMEA Lifestyle organization to achieve its overall business goals. You are the central point of contact between the Sales, Sales Support, Product Marketing and Supply Chain organization, providing operational support and driving product allocation process. This is specialist function in various operational areas, mainly concentrated on product availability management, product allocation, and demand management.

In this role, you are responsible for operational product allocation and reporting, and drive the continuous improvement of the EMEA allocation process through incorporation of new technology, business intelligence and information gathered from different sources. High collaboration and effective communication with different stakeholders at all levels in the EMEA organization is required to be successful in this role.

Your Team:

You'll collaborate closely with a dynamic team, reporting to the Manager of Demand Planning EMEA and working alongside talented peers in Sales & Operations and Demand Planning.

What You Will Do:

Product Availability Management

  • Central point of contact for inquiries around product availability.
  • Drive product availability through close collaboration with EMEA Supply Planning team.
  • Business coordination between Sales, Sales Support, Product Marketing and Supply Chain organization.
  • Auto-replenishment order priority management.

Product Allocation

  • Responsible for the EMEA inventory allocation process.
  • Optimize product allocation to accommodate overall business objectives.
  • Drive the manual allocation process in case of inventory shortage.
  • Drive excess stock depletion.

Demand Management - Forecast Consumption

  • Manage order intake vs. forecasted quantity (forecast fill rate).
  • Secure stock availability in such that forecasted demand can be converted into actual sales.

Business Process Improvement

  • Participate in business process improvement (cross-functional) projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement of allocation process.

Reporting and Data Management

  • Provide reporting and analysis to stakeholders, including reports on product availability and allocation schedules, end-of-life and excess stock, results and KPIs, and other templates and support documents.
  • Develop added-value reports to support decision-making by the organization.
  • Drive digitalization of reporting through BI system (Qlik Sense).
  • Manage data accuracy in the operating systems (SAP ECC / SAP IBP).

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 years work experience in Operations or Supply Chain.
  • Proficiency in Excel, strong analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrate assertiveness in daily practice.
  • Stakeholder management skills with cultural awareness.
  • Well-organized, self-disciplined, and excellent time management skills.

What is Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SAP ECC ; SAP IBP or SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with Qlik Sense (or equivalent BI systems).
  • Experience in project management and process improvement.
