About the team

E-commerce's Governance and Experience (GNE) is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only our users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the product & content moderation process under IP protection governance scenario as well as moderation checkpoint reviews; evaluating existing platform moderation strategies for gaps and improvement; planning & arranging moderation implementation strategy.
  • Responsible for product & content moderation business implementation, interaction, differentiation of moderation strategy.
  • Monitoring core metrics and responsible for the operation of Global E-Commerce product and content moderation algorithms, models, tools, and other automated products; familiar with the building and training of moderation models and tools for Global E-Commerce platforms; capable of continuously optimizing and iterating relevant products through product operation means.
  • Refine the operation of moderation strategies through the analysis of moderation metrics and data to drive changes and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with regional governance, risk compliance, moderation bases, and customer service experience for sellers & creators etc.; analyze the changes in delivery metrics and governance status of the moderation business, and clarify the direction and focus of strategy optimization.
  • Establish mechanisms for iterative optimization of strategy rules, project interaction and collaboration, emergency analysis and evaluation, etc., so as to achieve the closed-loop ecology of product and content moderation strategy composition, release, implementation and emergency response.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above, with at least 3 years work experience in Global E-Commerce moderation operations or product operations.
  • Data conscious with strong analytical ability to review and summarise problems; good at systemic problem solving.
  • Familiar with moderation management products; have product operation mindsets; able to convert operational problems into product operation solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in utilising querying and analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel) is advantageous.
  • Strong learning, communication, and coordination skills; strong self-drive, empathy, sense of responsibility, and teamwork spirit.
