Primary Job Function:

Protects safety and property of Toledo Public School stakeholders by providing security services as required.

Keeps principals and staff informed about operations, interests, and concerns of the community.

Acts as a liaison and resource between community agencies and school administration.

Operates in a professional and discrete manner at all times adhering to Board Policy and Local, State and Federal laws and ordinances.

Job Duties:

Conducts weapons checks as assigned

Maintain the safety and security of all students, staff, and visitors to Toledo Public School events.

Works at the direction of the on site Toledo Public School Resource Officer.

Performs other related duties pertaining to position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must have experience working with children or security related background (preferred)

Must be able to pass an FBI/BCI background check 

Education and Experience

Must possess a Diploma or G.E.D
