Data CoLAB, which is recognized by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) as a collaborative laboratory for Data-Driven Innovation Services, is a key player in promoting the intelligent utilization of data.

Our activity focuses on promoting and carrying out Research and Development (R&D) activities aimed at creating a cross-sector innovation ecosystem to promote the intelligent use of data to improve the way we produce, consume and live, from data generation and standardisation to data analysis and the development of decision-making support tools, guaranteeing data integrity and security throughout the entire value chain.

We are looking for curious and ambitious team members who want to make a difference.

You'll be working in a cloud environment with cutting-edge technologies such as blockchain and IoT devices, helping to develop advanced, innovative applications with real-world impact for a range of industries.

Habilitações

Qualifications:

• Java development experience;
• 3+ years of experience in related field;
• Accustomed to working in an agile environment, using the SCRUM methodology and CI/CD principles;
• Knowledge of REST communication protocols;
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
• Basic knowledge of architectural patterns (especially microservice and message-driven architectures);
• Bachelor's degree (NQ:6) and/or Master's degree (NQ:7) in Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science or a similar field;
• Experience with these technologies is a plus for us: Quarkus framework, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka and Kafka streams, Keycloak, AWS suite, Docker, Kubernetes.
