The Work

As the Agile Product Owner for the A&D ATV CIV (manual test) team you will lead the development of the backlog, the definition of the supportive features, the overseeing of the Sprints (allocation of stories) and the acceptance of the stories/features when they meet the Definition of Done. Your leadership will be demonstrated in the planning of Program Increments and the coordination across test IPTs and other A&D Product Lines. You will be expected to build and lead the team through planning and execution of multiple Program Increments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 9 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related experience, or 5 years of experience with a PhD
  • An active Secret clearance is required
  • Experience in reading/writing/executing manual test procedures for a large integrated program
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, build, and execute to a schedule, and or Roadmap
  • Demonstrated Agile competency - Specifically in the Product Owner role - relative experience as a scrum team product owner
  • Demonstrated Team building skills - building a unified approach to testing needs in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in planning and leading Integration/test efforts of software builds deployed on hardware.
  • Experience in advising Product Line and Senior Leadership, The Customer, and Internal Product Teams on the capabilities/limitations of an integrated system
  • Must be able to work with the Integrated Product Teams to build coordinated and effective manual, automated, and DEVOPs solutions
  • Exposure to scripting (Perl, Python)
  • Detailed knowledge of Windows and Unix environments
  • Working knowledge in test plan/procedure preparation and test execution

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with requirements development/collaboration
  • Working knowledge of system design, system security design, and overall integration into an operational environment
  • Extensive knowledge of C++, Python
  • Security + Certified

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
