As a Technical Account Manager II, you shape solutions meeting customer needs, playing a pivotal role in sales. You will be both the customer's trusted advisor and technical expert. Collaborating with sales partners, you will facilitate product adoption and account growth within the install base.

As a Technical Account Manager II, you will be responsible for:

• Designing solutions for customer's business requirements using Akamai services
• Leading sales opportunities through Technical Demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs)
• Demonstrating high standards of technical thought leadership with customers through consultation, presentation, and technical evaluations
• Managing technical proposal process and ensuring that all information that address customer requirements are accurate and detailed
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge of not just Akamai's products, but also current industry trends and relative landscape.
• Developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 2-5 years of relevant experience and an equivalent technical education in an information systems field
• Have experience working in a customer-facing technical solutions pre-sales or post-sales role
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the internet, including how traffic flows between end users and content servers
• Be familiar with cloud infrastructure and information security ecosystems
• Demonstrate ability to learn new technical topics on the go
• Be a customer advocate passionate about delivering technical solutions
• Demonstrate experience in presenting technical topics to diverse audiences
• Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast paced environment
