Job Description Business Systems Analyst
- The Business Systems Analyst role is to work closely with the Platform Owner/s, Solution Designer, Systems Analyst, Applications Subject Matter Experts, Program/Project Managers and Business Units to gather, analyze, document business requirements and understand its business benefits and values.
- Work closely with different teams and/or Business Units to understand business process and execute Business Process Management (BPM) efforts including formulating user requirements, planning process review sessions, facilitating in BPM projects, and developing process models and minimize the risks and costs of regulatory non-compliance, legal complications, and security breaches.
- Capable of conducting process analysis, impact analysis and can understand relevant intricacies.
- Engage and develop good rapport with users in order to develop good understanding of user operations (needs and challenges)
- Execute change management efforts to enhance user knowledge and secure buy-in for BPM efforts
- Prepare reports on BPM initiatives that outline the objective(s) of the BPM effort, vision and desired outcomes, pain point analysis, updated business process models and key recommendations
Preferred skills
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong Business analysis skills
- Experience in working with Insurance company or related Financial institution and understand its business processes.
- Familiar and has experience in exercising SDLC and Project / Delivery Management phases.
- Experience in Agile Scrum or any Agile framework is preferred.
- Experienced in any of the following BPM knowledge areas: Process Modeling, Process Analysis, Process Design, Process Performance Management, Process Transformation
- Applied knowledge in BPM work, with prior contributions in business process review projects and relevant experience in the area of Business Process Re-engineering
- Experience in Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) and/or Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
- Having knowledge of Alfresco Digital Business Platform is an advantage
Qualifications
- College graduate preferably with IT Background
- Minimum 3 year experience in the IT industry or IT-related industry
- Minimum 2 year experience as Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst
