Lead Accessibility/Test Manager

Location: Dallas, TX (Remote) 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors in science, engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with tools like NVDA, Voice Over and TalkBack
  • Experience in performing visual accessibility analysis on wireframes to identify violations.
  • Should have worked in an accessibility position where WCAG 2.1 Standards were practiced; section 508 standards are also acceptable.
  • Core Skills: Accessibility Testing, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, JIRA, aXe, WAT, WAVE, CCA.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS, and Web content management systems). 

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed Accessibility Test plan, Test scenarios and test conditions.
  • Execute web accessibility test scenarios and test conditions.
  • Work in Section 508 and tools like NVDA, Voice Over and TalkBack.
  • Conduct comprehensive accessibility Testing on various forms of electronic communications.
  • Collaborating with offshore team and deliver to client.

Work Authorization:

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Salary and Other Compensation: 

Applications will be accepted until 04/1/2024 

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 - $112,800 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
