Our client is a local, family-owned furniture and appliance store that has served the greater Oakdale area since 1931. We are looking for someone who will be responsible for moving warehouse items and can perform an array of functions that include lifting, bending, shipping, packing and receiving materials.

Job Title: Warehouse Worker/Delivery

Pay - $17 - $18 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary

General Labor Worker/Warehouse is responsible for moving warehouse items, lifting, bending, and stock allocation. This person will also handle deliveries of appliances and furniture.

Duties

• Perform an array of functions that include lifting, bending, receiving, shipping, packing, and retrieving materials.
• Maintains safe work area and wear proper safety equipment.
• Follows and adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Load and unload items or materials
• Dependable and reliable
• Able to follows instruction and work assignments.
• Will train how to use machinery like pallet jacks, machinery, and industrial drums.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands & Abilities

• Regularly required to lift or move items up to 50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move items that weight more than 100lbs with a pallet jack.
• Frequently required to stand, bend, lift and walk.

Minimum Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the USA.
• CA Driver License with Good Driving Record

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Monday – Friday) + Weekends 

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
