Your Role and Responsibilities
Join IBM development team in Krakow as a Java Full Stack Developer to work on various components of IBM flagship product from Data & AI area focusing on the platform data sources’ connectivity capabilities.
Participate in design and development activities, perform code reviews,
Actively contribute to daily team activities:
- scrum/stand-up meetings, progress checkpoints, demo sessions,
- be able to effectively cooperate with different teams and team members across a worldwide development organization,
- participate in customer support activities resolving complex issues and providing assistance to our customers.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Professional experience with Java SE and/or C/C++
- Understanding of relational and/or noSQL databases
- Experience with REST APIs, JDBC, shell scripts
- Advanced in Linux and Windows
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in English
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Modern front-end JavaScript-based technologies (React, Angular)
- Experience with cloud services from AWS, Azure and Google
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Understanding of cloud services and CI/CD processes
- Understanding of SaaS and microservices security aspects
- Knowledge of Apache Flight
- Understanding of Agile/scrum
- Ability to work in complex development environment with development teams spread across the world
