PRIMARY ROLE: The Director of Security at our high school is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security programs and protocols to ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors. This position requires a strong background in security management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IN THIS POSITION WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE: • Security Strategy Development - Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with the school's mission and values. - Conduct risk assessments and identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities. - Create policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe environment. • Security Operations - Oversee day-to-day security operations (24/7 operation), including access control (Brivo Software), surveillance systems, and emergency response procedures. Ensure that security is provided and scheduled for daily operations, large and small events both on campus and off campus, games and for fundraising opportunities.
