Job Overview:

As a Communication Senior Manager at Burger King Latin America, you will be at the helm of steering Burger King’s regional and global narrative, strategically embedding the brand in culture, developing brand communication plans, and ensuring a visually striking and cohesive presence across diverse markets. As part of this journey, we also need to connect with our audience in a meaningful way, through strategic media planning and culturally relevant activations.

The Communication Sr. Manager will be an integral part of the BK Marketing regional team working closely with different stakeholders: Global BK Marketing, Sales Analytics, Digital, franchisee CMOs, creative agencies, and PR. This individual is responsible for managing and enforcing the brand across multiple media channels, overseeing the creative deliverables on a daily internal and external process. As part of this role, creative skills and measurement mindset will work together. We want someone with a can-do attitude that will recommend a well-done craft and a cohesive language, preserving the brand tone of voice consistently while respecting the touch point nature, making sure we have the best-in-class experience related for each communications channel. This person will oversee brand campaigns, briefing agencies against business objectives, develop regional toolkits, elevate the quality of media planning in the region and manage key stakeholders in the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee BK LAC communications strategies and advertising executions, leading 360 Communication’s plans.
  • Plan, implement, and manage a comprehensive advertising and marketing program for BK LAC.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with creative agencies, media outlets, and industry partners to generate brand awareness, and new traffic to stores, building relevant and engaging consumer facing communications’ plans.
  • Proactively identify and leverage opportunities for brand partnerships, collaborations, media opportunities and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and reach.
  • Manage, protect, and champion the brand voice in multiple media channels, including but not limited to Linear TV, CTV, Radio, OOH, Digital, Social Media, Influencers programs, etc.
  • Driving cohesive, well-rounded campaigns, promoting products launches.
  • Identifies opportunities to grow the audience and improve brand awareness.
  • Analyze engagement data, identifying trends in consumers interactions.
  • Collaborate with agency and internal teams to ensure a high-quality deliverable.
  • Serve as subject matter expert, advisor, and brand liaison for franchisees.
  • Monitor Competitive Landscape, keep up with the latest trends and pop culture, look into industry benchmarks on communication and consistently share findings with the Marketing team, providing recommendations as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ years brand or agency experience
  • Craft oriented with a business background
  • Demonstrated knowledge of branding and marketing principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven robust project management skills and cross-functional leadership
  • Strong conceptual abilities and abilities to originate solutions on-time and on budget
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team environments
  • Proven track record in leading global communication strategies for renowned brands.
  • Proven ability to develop and deploy comprehensive marketing toolkits for regional markets.
  • A history of fostering a culture of creative effectiveness within teams.
