Your Job:

Brooks believes a run can flat out change a day, a life, the world. Our European business is growing and as a Project Manager in EMEA you will deliver solutions that will push the business even farther with improved customer experiences, new supply chain models, and better exploitation of data. Your job will be to plan, budget, manage and document all aspects of the project(s) you are working on. You will collaborate closely with your peers in Operations, Customer Service, Sales, eCommerce, Finance, Marketing and external vendors in Europe and with the US team. Your projects will range in scope and size and at times be technical in nature.

You will be phenomenal at articulating and interpreting the needs of all partners and communicating out to these groups. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage EMEA roadmap projects for IT B2B, B2C, Infrastructure, Operations and business.
  • Lead projects through all project phases while monitoring and tracking scope, schedule, and costs. Be accountable for project results along with the project sponsor.
  • Define project scope and deliver project in line with resources, budget and timing.
  • Liaison with internal cross-functional teams such as: Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, Digital, Operations, Technology, Infrastructure, Information Security, etc. and partner with vendors and Global IT colleagues to ensure successful project execution and outcomes.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and work with the team to sequence and identify task interdependencies.
  • Lead project in line with the 5 fundamentals – identify constraints, identify dependencies, identify milestones, document and keep risks statements up to date, ensure a complete Work Breakdown Structure (“WBS”) is completed.
  • Develop project team meeting cadence including organizing and leading project kick-off and project status meetings. Facilitate project steering committee meetings.
  • Effectively control project scope by ensuring project change requests are submitted and approved in accordance with project approval authority.
  • Track and report on project achievements and provide status reports as defined by Brooks' project governance methodology.
  • Participate in the global IT PMO and provide updates for all assigned projects.
  • Actively lead risk and issue management, providing risk mitigation and issues resolution throughout projects.
  • Regularly monitor and communicate project status to all partners and stakeholders.
  • Define a project evaluation structure to celebrate achievements and define areas of improvement.
  • Drive improvements to project management methodology within EMEA region in accordance with Global IT PMO standards and ensuring alignment with Global IT PMO team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Business or a related field, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of IT project management experience, including cross functional projects.
  • Experience in supply chain, third-party logistics provider, distribution, and transportation projects is a plus.
  • Proven track of successful delivery of the IT Projects, including collaboration with Customer service, supply chain, ERP, digital products, infrastructure and/or business intelligence.
  • Experience within retail is a plus.
  • Strong in relationships building.
  • PMI, Prince 2 or other relevant project management certification.
  • Experienced with project management tools and/or software packages.
  • Experience leading projects using a Project Management framework in a matrixed environment – initiating, planning, executing, supervising, and closing.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills for business and technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated individual able to balance multiple projects simultaneously, independently, as well as in a team.
  • A passion for running and the active lifestyle, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community.
