As an Operational Engineer in Integrity, you will be part of a technical team supporting the analysis of live betting feeds to detect anomalies and ensure Sport operates with integrity.

Provide advanced technical assistance and training for software, hardware, API data feed usage. Automate workflows using a combination of scripting skills and low-code code tools. Critical thinking, adaptability and high attention to detail are crucial for a candidate to be successful in this role.

Duties and responsibilities

• Support operations for our Integrity product. Quality control, analysis and troubleshooting of Integrity issues.
• Support integration and go-live activity for new data feeds.
• Perform regular sweeps of dashboards and alerts to identify issues and notify the stakeholders of faults and downstream impact.
• Service ticket management and escalation to product engineering.
• Automation of common operational workflows to alleviate common support requests, drive efficiency in the operations team and increase the resilience of our integrity experience.
• Develop operational run-books, guides, dashboards and alerting for the wider support team to manage our integrity product at scale.
• Assistance in testing system releases and updates to ensure user needs are met.

Required Attributes, Skills, Experience

• Basic knowledge of cloud computing and experience using tools from modern infrastructure providers, with a preference for familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Adaptability and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and effectively address multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced work environment.
• Troubleshooting skills. Ability to stresolve technical issues while functioning within a support team structure.
• Basic coding skills and experience scripting with a preference for C#, python or javascript.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Attributes, Skills, Experience

• Knowledge of Sport, particularly American Football, Basketball, Football, Tennis and/or Volleyball.
• Familiarity with basic security principles.
• Experience working with Software Engineering teams.
