Leverage your developer skills to improve cancer care. As part of Varian’s Technology Enabled Solutions you will engage with Varian’s treatment planning service team. You will participate in the development of custom software extensions to Varian’s Oncology Information System (OIS), Treatment Planning System (TPS), Treatment Management System (TMS) to enhance their use in radiotherapy. You will be working in a small and dynamic user facing group, and may be called on to help with many things, including creating planning automation tools, workflow integration tools and troubleshooting problems.

The team

As part of Varian’s Technology Enabled Solutions you will engage with Varian’s treatment planning service team. You will participate in the creation of custom software extensions to Varian’s Oncology Information System (OIS), Treatment Planning System (TPS), Treatment Management System (TMS) to enhance their use in radiotherapy. You will be working in a small and dynamic user facing group, and may be called on to help with many things, including creating planning automation tools, workflow integration tools and troubleshooting problems. The team is located in Budapest, Hungary.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively specify requirements and design
  • Develop and maintain .NET, C# based software applications and components
  • Define and implement test procedures for module and integration tests of these components
  • Provide necessary documentation for product releases (eg.: Technical Requirement, Design, Risk Management, Engineering Verification)

Qualifications:

  • Software Development Engineer (B.Sc. or M.Sc. level) with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in .NET, C# based application development and related technologies.
  • Knowledge and interest in modern software testing and integration methods.
  • Interest in gathering domain knowledge in the area of radiotherapy.
  • High social and communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have skills:

  • Azure cloud experience (experience with Source Control and CI\CD management solutions)
  • WPF, .NET Framework experience
  • Security oriented perspective
