OVERVIEW: 

Logistics Officer has communicated with GUTC member for import and export shipment.

She/ He must know well for process of import and export process and duty.Correct the date for submit to customs, shipping, internal department.

THE ROLE 

Manage the shipment on time and coordinate with internal and external for shipment.

Correct the duty with product type to avoid any penalty from customs and report to Logistics Supervisor 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Accountability #1: Logistics officer daily works

  1. Logistics officer daily work schedules of import and export to ensure the goods and raw material on time.
  2. Manage the import and export processes in a cost-effective way with specific emphasis on imports - including all related tasks. 
  3. Assist Import/Export Manager with financial duties regarding import and export processes in an effective and responsible way as well as the daily running processes of the unit 
  4. Ensure the unit's compliance with policies and procedures 
  5. Manage, control, check or assist with issuing of all import/export documents must be accuracy.
  6. Effective negotiation of duties and terms for imports and exports
  7. Issue customs invoice, packing list and shipping instruction aligning with customer requirement on time.

Accountability #2: Logistics officer weekly or monthly works.

  1. Obtain freight quotations and/or permits where necessary.
  2. Estimate the freight cost summary to supervisor.
  3. Summary shipment by monthly to supervisor.
  4. Upload data of export and import to WMS system.
  5. Summary the import duty refund to supervisor. 
  • Compliance and implementation with applicable company HSE policy, law & regulations, ISO14001 and ISO45001 management system.
  • Compliance with company IATF16949 and ISO9001 requirements to follow company procedure, working instruction and other registered documents in management systems.
  • Compliance with HR policy, government regulation, employee handbook etc.

KEYS TO SUCCESS: 

  • Correct the data for submit the process of duty and bonded.
  • Consolidate the shipment to minimize the cost of delivery.
  • Follow up and manage schedule of delivery on time.
  • Reduce process time of delivery and process time of document.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • At least 1-2 years experiences in import and export. 
  • Good command with both written and spoken English.
  • Proficient PC skills: Microsoft Excel/Word/Power Point.
  • Knowledge in Incoterm and L/C will be an advantage.
  • Have knowledge of process or agreement of Free trade area.
  • Good knowledge in BONED, BOI, import-export regulations and international regulation.
  • Understood of the country of origin.

Education and Certifications 

  • Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related Field.

Experience and Skills 

  • Good communication 
  • Motivation skills and an ability to handle pressure.
  • Well-organized and able to work independently to meet deadlines. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively.
