Role: HR Generalist

Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite)

Pay: $55-$65k/Yearly

Overview:

As an HR Generalist with Payroll Experience you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HR. Providing HR best practices, while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and management. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the end-to-end payroll process, including both salaried and bi-weekly employees utilizing Paylocity.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and benefits.
  • Administering employee benefits programs and responding to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
  • Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding process, including facilitating new hire orientations.
  • Managing employee leave requests, time off, and attendance records.
  • Overseeing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Providing HR support to employees, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
  • Assisting in performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
  • Contributing to HR projects and initiatives that support the company's overall HR strategy.
  • Maintain service award program and other employee relations programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years proven experience as an HR Generalist with expertise in payroll processing.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong competency in MS Excel.
