We’re growing and we are looking to add a Marketing Operations Manager to our fast-paced and customer-focused Marketing department.

The Growth team drives channel-led growth for Jungle Scout’s SMB and Enterprise platforms. The Marketing Operations Manager role will help us build, measure, and optimize our marketing programs across all platforms. This includes measuring and evaluating marketing performance, informing strategic planning, overseeing data management, and enhancing the overall marketing processes, technology, and workflows. This is a very collaborative role that works closely with the Marketing & Rev-Ops teams, being the go-to expert in demand generation and integrated marketing campaigns that deliver results.

Location: We’re a remote-first company and looking to hire this person anywhere between the PST - EST timezone in Canada, excluding Quebec.

Day in the Life of a Marketing Operations Manager:

  • Own and improve our marketing tech stack (Marketo, Segment, etc.) to ensure seamless integrations, plus maintain the health of our database and lead management processes
  • Support all marketing and sales campaigns, including list and program creation, performance monitoring, developing insights, and implementing optimizations to deliver results (lead scoring implementation, email campaigns, lead nurture flows, MQL’s pipeline, and more)
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to uncover new opportunities in our database, implement new processes, and ensure day-to-day efforts contribute to our company targets

What success looks like in 6 months as a Marketing Operations Manager:

  • You have improved, optimized, and activated (new) flows that maximize conversions to our database
  • You have elevated all of our marketing and sales efforts, with accurate lead scoring, MQL definitions, and campaigns that target qualified (or newly identified) segments
  • You have cleaned up tech stack infrastructures, including data hygiene, remove redundancies, and sync errors to ensure consistent efficiencies in all programs
  • You have uncovered new opportunities or insights from our data (or database) to help our teams implement strategies that will help hit our company and team-level goals

Who you are:

  • This isn’t your first rodeo! You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar Marketing Operations role!
  • Marketing Tools Expert. Mastery in Marketo, Salesforce, Segment and Google Analytics is essential. 
  • Email Marketer. You possess a strong background in Email Marketing, showcasing your expertise in lead scoring, automation, workflow creation, and campaign management. 
  • Analytical, strong communicator and problem-solver. Your strength lies in your analytical prowess, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities. You adeptly dissect complex data, extract actionable insights, and drive data-driven decisions. Proficient in interpreting marketing metrics and identifying trends, you optimize strategies to meet objectives. You communicate insights clearly, collaborate cross-functionally, and innovate solutions to seize opportunities and overcome challenges.
  • Database Manager. You have expertise in database management practices, including data hygiene, segmentation, and attribution modeling. 

Bonus Points!

  • Experience with B2B marketing, preferably at the Enterprise level
  • Experience in Segment or Power BI 
  • Experience in Amazon or is currently a Seller
  • Experience working with Sales teams or Customer success managers
  • Good understanding of digital marketing (paid, affiliate, CRO)
