Job Description

Senior Tax Accountant (CPAs or CPA Candidates)

Direct Hire 

Onsite (3 days a week)

Must Haves:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
2. 4-12 years CPA firm experience
3. Currently licensed CPA (or candidate, with commitment to complete CPA exam before being promoted to Manager with subsequent obtaining of licensure), Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar
4. Member in good standing of the AICPA and PICPA
5. Accounting and tax software knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks

Preferred:

• Advanced Taxation Degree

Successful candidates will perform a wide variety of tax compliance and planning activities for high net worth individuals, businesses and trusts. Candidates will also work closely with clients and senior managers providing innovative tax planning solutions and strategies. CPA required, advanced taxation degree helpful.

We currently seek independent thinkers and ambitious, entrepreneurial thinking CPAs or CPA candidates with

the following key skills, knowledge and abilities:

• Strong knowledge and proven technical skills in the areas of tax compliance and planning, for high net worth individuals and businesses
• Exposure to multi-state individual taxation
• Interest in research and writing on a wide variety of tax matters impacting high net worth individuals and businesses
• Ability and desire to provide innovative tax planning solutions and strategies including the ability to learn to effectively present same to clients
• Ability to accurately and timely address client needs and actively participate in client discussions and meetings
• Proven success as an innovative individual contributor and team member
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Accurately manage client service time budgets
