The Advisory Tech team works with our stakeholders to deliver solutions and services that provide counsel to financial institutions, regulators, and government entities on their most critical and often most complex financial issues.

The main product offering, Aladdin Foresight, is a cloud-native platform enabling clients to organize and automate fragmented model-driven business processes to facilitate effective decision making. This has been built using a microservice architecture, running on Azure and provides climate modelling for our BlackRock clients to determine the impact of environmental change on their portfolios.

You are:

Skills / Qualifications:

• Essential:
• 3+ years of experience in front-end web development using the latest Angular, NgRx, RxJS Reactive programming, TypeScript libraries.
• Familiar with web design principles and user interface design.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization, accessibility, and usability.
• Passionate about web development and eager to learn new skills and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Agile methodology, including test driven development, code reviews.
• Nice to have:
• 5+ years micro front-end development skills.
• Cypress E2E testing framework.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• Highcharts library, AG Grid.
• Experience of distributed systems and cloud technologies, including Kubernetes.
• Relational and other databases.
• Embrace a variety of languages, including Go, Python and .Net.

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
