We are looking for a Senior HR Specialist to support our site in Bucharest. The Senior HR Specialist covers a diverse set of tasks, combining business and corporate compliance with the mandatory local labor laws and acts as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, managers, extended HR team and external partners. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full employee life cycle and solid knowledge of labor legislation. Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures always run smoothly.

In this role, you will report to the Sr. HR Manager of Software and Solutions Organization, receiving guidance as well from the Country HR Partner, and having interactions with local Leadership Team, HR Business Partners, HR Operations (Regional HR Services, Payroll, HRIS) and Corporate HR (Compensation, Benefits, Global Mobility). 

The contract will be for a limited period of 2 years, covering a maternity backfill.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures compliance with labor legislation of documents and human resources activities and stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
  • Work with EMEA Payroll Specialist and Local Payroll vendor to prepare and review the monthly input
  • Collaborates with Country HRP to develop and implement local policies, procedures and directions to following local laws and adjusting to corporate guidelines.
  • Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
  • Acts as company representative towards external parties (courts, fairs, local networks, authorities) if assigned.
  • Takes over administrative tasks if it comes to customization and deviations from the standard.
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to cover risks.
  • Produce regular and on-demand internal analysis reports and take on ad hoc tasks and projects if necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 4 years of proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist 
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
  • Solid English skills
  • Ability to work in a complex organization, with matrix and virtual structure
  • Good project management skills and managing multiple activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including giving presentations to a large audience
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
