The Vehicle Delivery Specialist provides a seamless experience from the point of sale to final vehicle delivery, acting as the main point of contact for all vehicle deliveries to Merchants Auto.
Location: Auto, Hooksett NH – This position requires outdoor work, as detailed below.
What your day will look like:
- Work in unison with transportation team to streamline vehicle deliveries
- Assist with management of all commercial sales deliveries
- Act as liaison between commercial sales, service, and transportation departments
- Work cross functionally with the service department on National Delivery Process
- Provide world class communication to customer throughout entire delivery process from point of sale to vehicle delivery
- Coordinate with transportation team and third-party logistics on vehicle pick up
- Perform final quality control checks before vehicle departure
- Act as a front-line point of contact for customers to see through problem resolution
- Serve as a point of contact for escalations related to delivery process
- Provide opinions to management on better processing practices
- Use discretion to select vendors, carriers, and expense management

- Ability to influence and lead efforts with cross-functional groups

- Aptitude for organizational change, innovation, creativity, and ability to “look outside the box”
- Exceptional computer skills to include Microsoft Windows and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead others while accomplishing personal, departmental and company goals
- Ability to work outdoors with year-round exposure
The experience and education you have:
- Minimum of two years in a logistics-based background
- Experience with portfolio management
- Minimum of HS Degree; Some College preferred
