The mission of the Sellers Performance team is to provide Sellers with the right tools to get the right visibility, attract the right buyers, generate the right discussions and sell as close as possible to their terms.

Our team is cross-functional and customer-focused. We work together as team toward our goals want, and - we are a bunch of fun folks!

You'll report to the team Engineering Manager.

What you'll do

• Work with your team to understand our users' needs and design scalable backend systems that deliver value to our customers
• Collaborate with other engineers in the team to architect, develop and operate Scala services serving millions of users
• Be a technical leader working in a cross-functional team
• Promote engineering practices within the team and across the organisation, as a part of the Backend chapter

Who you are

• You have 4+ years of experience in backend development (Java and/or Scala)
• You have experience working on high traffic distributed systems
• You have experience working in an Agile, outcome-driven environment
• You want to solve customer problems and see how your code helps users achieving their goals
• You want to experiment, fail and iterate fast
• You want to build robust and maintainable solutions
• You have a continuous improvement mindset, challenging the status quo
• You already live in the Netherlands and are entitled to work here
