The Department of History, Philosophy and Political Science at Kingsborough Community College is seeking adjunct faculty at all levels for the 2023-2024 academic year to teach undergraduate courses in the following areas:
Introduction to U.S. Government and Political Theory
American History and related topics
European or World History and related topics
Various topics in Philosophy
Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
For Adjunct Lecturer:
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67 - $96.47 per hour
Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100.00 - $106.41 per hour
Adjunct Associate Professor: $108.33 - $118.45 per hour
Adjunct Professor: $112.50 - $130.49 per hour
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
