Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Bangkok are located along the Chao Phraya River, one of the world’s most famous urban waterways, Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Bangkok at Chao Phraya River is part of a dynamic new riverside development that includes 299 guest rooms and suites, vibrant restaurants and bars, as well as a 73-storey tower with 366 private residences. What You Will Be Responsible For

Key Knowledge

Key Functions

• Supervises engineering and/or specialist contractors in conducting testing of Fire and Life Safety systems in compliance with corporate and local regulations.
• Maintains all records of the systems and equipment maintenance.
• Documents the system testing and maintenance with standard corporate logs/checklists. 
• Ensure valid authority certificates are in place and up-to-date.
• Conducts Fire and Life Safety training for all new employees.
• Conducts refresher training periodically to reinforce safety awareness.
• Promotes safety awareness to Hotel and Residences employees.
• Establishes and reviews onsite work permits rules and regulations and reviews in Fire and Life Safety aspect.
• Conducts inspection of onsite constructions and/or renovations to assess any potential risks and assure necessary Fire and Life Safety measures are in place. 
• Regularly follows up, meets and discusses with concerned parties/authorities regarding Fire and Life Safety inspections requirements in compliance with corporate and local regulations.
• Undertakes any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as directed by Director of Engineering and management and Security.
• Ensures training and performance the “Fire and Emergency Response Team” is maintained at high standard, including “Hands on” use of all relevant firefighting equipment.
• Organizes with Bangkok Fire and Rescue Department on necessary participation of the properties fire training, drill, and evacuation.
• Ensures the fire drills and evacuation are effectively carried out in accordance with corporate guidelines and local regulations. 
• Maintains records of all fire trainings, drills, and evacuations, including recommendations for improvement.
• Initial detailed familiarization of the properties fire and smoke compartmentation requirements. 
• Supervise and monitors any breaches in the requirements and composes written report within 24 hours. 
• Follows up and reports on the corrective measures.
• Ensures all Fire and Life Safety signage are illuminated or otherwise, are properly maintained.
• Ensures fire doors are unlocked and/or their access control are working at all times, immediately arranges necessary rectification and files report of the incident. 
• Conducts initial reviews of manual and subsequently identifies any deviation from the listed requirements.
• Recommends action needed and carries out such remedial works when instructed.
• Monitors and reports in writing on remedial actions, including planning, Schedule.
• Ensures the Fire response procedures in Crisis Management guideline is up-to-date, informs and coordinates with concerned parties of any issues impact on functions.

OPERATIONAL RELATE WITH HOTEL ENGINEER 2 DAYS WEEK / RESIDENCES ENGINEER 2 DAYS WEEK

• Ensure visual inspection of fire protection system like Fire pump, Fire Extinguishers, Stairwell Air pressure & Fire alarm system along with signages are in working condition and log completed.
• Create schedule for Fire alarm testing ensuring that all systems are working correctly. Incase, of any issues, raise to Engineering and liase till fixed.
• Ensure regular maintenance of Fire Man Lift and homing happens as per procedure.
• Take rounds of Fire Exits to check incase of any blockades or dark areas or cleanliness with appropriate signages.
• Safety Precaution, Ensure all systems are live, lockout procedures should be followed and proper checks should be performed to ensure the equipment is safe for work.
• All protective equipment is in working order ready to wear uniforms.
• All safety procedures should be followed and only authorized and properly trained personnel should perform the work. Manufacture’s documentation should be always be consulted before performing any activities.

OPERATIONAL RELATE WITH SECURITY 1 DAY WEEK

• Conduct Fire and Life Safety briefing for all Security on duty and Emergency Response Team
• Conduct refresher briefing periodically to reinforce safety awareness.
• Coordinate with Security to promote Fire and Life Safety awareness for all employees.
• Ensure Security regularly follow up, meet and discuss regarding Fire and Life Safety patrolling requirement in compliance with corporate and local regulations in daily basis.
