Dispatcher

As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls and dispatching appropriate services to the scene. You will need to assess situations quickly and accurately and provide assistance to callers in distress. This role requires excellent communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and multitasking abilities.

What you'll do:

  • Receive inbound calls, gather essential information from callers, and assess the nature and severity of the situation.
  • Schedule appointments with callers and determine the nearest crew.
  • Arrange appointments with callers and determine the closest available crew. Provide caller’s contact information to the responding crew and a brief description of the service needed.
  • Utilize computer-aided dispatch system and company database during and after each inbound call.
  • Adhere to established protocols, guidelines, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate empathy and compassion while gathering essential information to assist responders. 
  • Ability to complete admin tasks such as filing claims, auditing, and closing files during low call-volume.

  • Remain calm and composed under pressure, managing high-stress situations with professionalism, empathy, and a focus on resolving emergencies effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience operating Microsoft Suite for data entry and retrieval.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Location: 

This role is 100% onsite role based in the Aftermath Headquarters in Aurora, IL.
