At Incorta, We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer in Test to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer in Test, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions. If you are passionate about testing and automation, have a strong technical background, strong engineering principles, and methodical problem-solving skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you.

YOU WILL

• Develop test automation and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.
• Identifies gaps in functional test automation, document missing coverage, and adds new test automation to improve coverage.
• Refine tests at all levels to ensure efficient coverage and effective deduplication.
• Take initiative to recommend new approaches and processes that will improve our quality, productivity, and velocity.
• Create and refine deploy processes, and deployment scripts, and build pipelines.
• Ensure that pipeline failures are triaged, addressed, and communicated in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with developers to determine testing coverage needs and provide feedback on functionality.
• Partner with the development team to review specifications and offer feedback from an engineering standpoint or based on testing results.
• Troubleshoot issues and bugs discovered in testing, staging, and production to determine the root cause.
• Establish an enterprise-wide test automation framework, standard toolsets, and overall test procedures to maximize performance.
• Develop tests to measure throughput and latency.

YOU HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• +3 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a Test or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, or Python.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or JUnit.
• Good knowledge of Cloud Testing & Technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Experience working with popular operating systems including Windows and Linux.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying updated with industry trends.
