What Your Days Will be Like: 

  • The Learning and Development (L&D) Program Specialist position is the centralized owner for L&D pillars. You will report into the Sr. Manager, HR Programs and work closely with Senior HR Leadership, Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP), business leaders, project stakeholders, and vendors. You will work with teams to identify training and development needs to address skill gaps and enhance employee performance. You will work with vendors and systems to curate and assign content, track and measure training engagement and effectiveness. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on employee development and organizational performance. 

What You'll Be Doing:  

  • Consult and collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to identify and address L&D needs within the organization 
  • Develop and implement learning strategies and initiatives aimed at improving employee skills and performance 
  • Design and deliver training programs that align with organizational goals and objectives 
  • Manage and curate content catalogue, develop learning paths, and training campaigns to assign to employees 
  • Utilize a variety of learning methods and technologies to engage employees and enhance learning outcomes 
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, metrics and feedback mechanisms 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in training programs 
  • Manage relationships with external training vendors and suppliers 
  • Prepare and present reports on training activities, outcomes, and impact to senior leadership 
  • Document L&D operational procedures, FAQs, learning resource toolkit 
  • Serve as system administrators to L&D platforms and troubleshoot issues as arise 
  • Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in learning and development 
  • Manage L&D budget, vendor costs, and annual planning 

What You’ll Need to Succeed: 

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of education with a focus on adult learning, psychology, or business administration 
  • 2- 4 years of relevant learning & development experience  
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think creatively, and adapt as needed 
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, trends, learning management systems and e-learning platforms 
  • Experience with conducting needs assessments and developing learning objectives 
  • Ability to analyze training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement 
  • Excellent public speaking, communication, and meeting facilitation skills  
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office and related program software

Salary Range: $62,000 - $75,000 The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
