Capital Sales Specialist (Phoenix ,AZ - Los Angeles, CA - Seattle, WA)

As a Capital Sales Specialist, you will provide on-site field capital sales support in the hospital and surgical center environment. The Capital Sales Specialist will report directly to the Director- US Capital Sales Specialists.

What will you be doing?

As a Capital Sales Specialist, your primary role is to assist the Strategic Sales Director & AVP in achieving Capital Quota goals by providing support for capital sales activities. This support encompasses various tasks such as conducting capital trials and evaluations with comprehensive case coverage, facilitating new equipment installations, setting up and dismantling demo/trial equipment, and conducting customer in-services.

What will you need to be successful?

The Capital Specialist is tasked with ensuring flawless trial execution, maintaining a professional representation of Smith & Nephew, and achieving positive trial outcomes to boost capital opportunity closures. Additionally, they will identify further capital upgrade possibilities within accounts, create collateral materials, and conduct training sessions to enhance Capital evaluations in the AVP region. Furthermore, support and training on competitive videos will be provided to strengthen sales efforts, all with the aim of representing Smith & Nephew and improving capital opportunity closure rates.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Device Capital Sales.
  • At least 2 years of B2B sales experience with a strong focus on customer service is required.
  • A technical background of 2 or more years is preferred.
  • Previous work experience with OR video or other Capital-related products is advantageous.

Travel Requirements: Capital Sales Support as described above (70% travel)

All field sales professionals that are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role, must successfully complete our credentialling process, which often includes COVID 19 vaccine management.
