Are you ready to embark on a crucial role that ensures the seamless flow of incoming and outgoing deliveries for our esteemed clients? We seek qualified and dedicated Shipping & Receiving Clerks to join a local Palm Beach County company.

Position Overview:

Shipping and Receiving Clerks will play a pivotal role in the timely and efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. This position is of paramount importance to operations, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility. The primary focus of this role is to receive, verify, and log incoming packages while also managing the outbound shipping process in collaboration with renowned carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and other private vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliveries.
• Log all received goods into the internal system, maintaining a precise inventory record.
• Collaborate with internal departments to distribute received goods accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and schedule shipments with UPS, FedEx, and other carriers to guarantee on-time pick-up.
• Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks to handle and move shipments, adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized shipping and receiving area, optimizing efficiency and accessibility.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff to facilitate seamless collaboration and enhance client satisfaction.
• Assist in the resolution of any shipping discrepancies or issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages as necessary.
