Achieving Vinted's mission will require crafting an experience that spans across multiple verticals and is useful and valuable for a large group of people (everyone!). We're looking for a highly ambitious, energetic, and experienced staff-level Product designer to drive the success of our strategic initiatives (Programs) and be a force multiplier for our design practice in the Marketplace.

As our new Staff Product Designer, you will join the Marketplace product design leadership team. You will also be a part of the craft leadership group, which consists of a fellow Staff Product Designer and Senior Product Designers from multiple domains. You will focus on our largest and most ambiguous problems, break them down effectively and mobilise teams to deliver them. You will become a design craft authority at Vinted, with influence and trust across multiple teams, functions and projects.

In this position, you’ll 

  • Drive the success of strategic marketplace initiatives by defining, validating and shipping unmatched member experiences.
  • Lead design excellence across multiple domains - supporting/driving pre-discovery/discovery for critical projects in the domain. 
  • Take a leading role in domain-level design critiques.
  • Join and foster a strong craft-leadership group - ensuring the quality bar is consistently raised across the Marketplace.
  • Build scalable and foundational practices in the design team.
  • Collaborate successfully with peers and partners from design and other functions.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership.

About you 

  • An eye and passion for great design.
  • 8+ years as a Product Designer for digital consumer products. Experience in designing marketplaces is a big plus.
  • A proven track record of leading complex, high-impact design initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Works autonomously, collaborates well with leads and peers on the design and UX vision, informs roadmap and strategy, and executes implementing designs and systems with cross-functional partners such as engineering, research, data science, and PM.
  • Experience building, contributing to, and consuming component-based design systems.
  • Expert in core product design and prototyping tools (Figma, Origami, or other)
  • Able to collaborate with engineers through implementation and beyond (not necessary to know code)
  • Excellent communication skills that excite stakeholders and articulate a vision.
  • A willingness to fail and learn. Earnest, mature, and ego-free. You welcome candid feedback and can constructively give it as well.

Hybrid Work

We’ve adopted a hybrid workplace model where 2 days in office are recommended but not enforced. It’s up to you and your team to decide on the exact days you’ll spend working together in person.

The salary range for this position is € 6,450 - € 8,725 gross per month.
