About the Agent Monetization Team

The Agent Team is composed of Product Design, Product Management, Engineering and Product Marketing roles. It is responsible for delivering, and constantly advancing one of the most significant components of OJO’s real estate guided marketplace. Supporting our network of 20,000+ partner real estate agents across the nation, the Agent Experience Team delivers the tools to:

  • Recruit and onboard the top real estate agents in the over 200+ markets OJO supports
  • Match and introduce home buyers and sellers to the right local agent
  • Collect signal throughout their working relationship and transaction to help OJO successfully drive its business
  • Provide our agents with real time metrics on their individual and team performance within our network
  • Deliver updates and tips, product and program education, and individualized encouragement that builds community and drives OJO Agent success.
  • Using rapid iteration, you will work closely within a collaborative cross-functional team environment, to create, ship, and iteratively improve the digital tools that grows the scale, effectiveness, and success of the OJO Agent Network - and ultimately that of our home buyers and sellers.

What you’ll do:

  • Fight for the users–be a staunch advocate for our Agents and Agent Teams and evangelize end-to-end user experience throughout the organization
  • Design production-ready web app experiences and flows that are clear, intuitive and elegant
  • Conduct generative research and usability tests with Agents and Agent Teams and present findings 
  • Partner with Product peers to develop and own the UX vision and strategy for our Agent products to support the goals of homebuyers and sellers
  • Actively participate in design critiques and contribute to related team culture
  • Collaborate across disciplines, engage stakeholders, and create cross-platform / experiences with business goals in mind
  • Contribute to team ceremonies to prioritize, scope, and test experiences before they’re delivered to our customers

What we need from you:

  • 3–5 years experience working with Product Managers and Engineers turning design to code and shipping products into the marketplace with an accompanying portfolio
  • Knowledge and strong ability to advocate for basic design principles
  • Curiosity about the way people think and human behavior
  • Experience designing web-based applications with working knowledge of iOS/Android design standards 
  • Experience working within and actively contributing to a design system
  • Deep knowledge of Figma
  • Experience in conducting and participating in qualitative user studies
  • Relentless curiosity

Nice-to-haves:

  • Knowledge of, and experience designing for consumer/provider marketplace dynamics
  • Residential real estate, real estate technology or finTech experience
  • Experience in quantitative data analysis
  • Deep Figma design libraries experience

Location: We have a slight preference to have this role based in Austin, Texas but are open to candidates elsewhere. We are able to hire in the following states: California, Illinois, Minnesota, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, North Carolina, New York, Texas
