We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer for our new SW Ekahau team. Ekahau enables IT professionals to take control of their Wi-Fi, making it easier than ever before to proactively monitor, maintain, and optimize their networks. Organizations of every size—including the world’s biggest brands and events—use our software and hardware products for full Wi-Fi lifecycle management and the highest levels of performance and connectivity. Our award-winning design, site survey, and troubleshooting solutions create fast, reliable networks that businesses can trust for their mission-critical Wi-Fi needs.
You will be developing cross-platform applications using a combination of web technologies and native code. The software development team is responsible for building technology enablers and new application features usable in Apps released on iOS and Android, and later on Windows and MacOS too. Together with the team, you take part in setting the direction for our future software stack and architecture. You would be innovating and validating options that will be pushing the limits of what we currently think would be possible.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing working, clean, high-performing, and reusable application code targeting web and mobile. Another aspect of your work is researching, evaluating, and prototyping technological options that meet business requirements. You are also creating reference implementations and coding conventions for guiding our software development teams. Your current technology stack can include any modern web framework, such as Vue.js or React. You could be a polyglot programmer interested in languages such as Typescript, Kotlin, Rust or even C++. You would also greatly benefit from an understanding of IP networking and wireless technologies as well as signal processing algorithms.
