And we’re looking for a new Tom’s activist to join our passionate team to dream up and create new products.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Financial Analyst to join our Budget & Planning team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is able to understand, clarify, and relay complex financial information with ease. They are an independent problem solver who uses their analytical skills to identify and resolve issues. This role presents a great opportunity to collaborate with teams across the organization to drive financial accuracy and strategic decision making. 

What you will do:

  • Develop financial projections using SAP financial tools, integrating inputs from multiple departments to deliver comprehensive and realistic financial estimates
  • Prepare and present detailed financial exhibits, manage large datasets, and communicate variances and trends to stakeholders effectively
  • Conduct monthly financial analysis against forecasts, pinpoint variances, and investigate causes to support informed business decisions; proactively monitor fixed expenses to identify risks and opportunities
  • Use scenario analysis to highlight strategic business opportunities and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain to evaluate the financial viability of new products
  • Further a collaborative environment within the Tom’s organization, contributing to team dynamics with effective communication and credibility
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) by maintaining thorough documentation of financial processes and provide expert financial analysis to support cross-functional teams and projects

What you have (Required):

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of related financial experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex financial issues
  • A track record of thinking creatively, showing initiative, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong understanding of financial modeling and analysis techniques

What you have (Preferred)

  • Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
  • SAP proficiency

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $81,200.00 - $105,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
