Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for an Associate Manager, CRM & Content Marketing, based in New York, NY. 

The role: 

You will be responsible for managing our email, mailer, and SMS marketing communication calendars from copywriting and designer briefs, to delivering approved assets to cross-functional teams under tight deadlines. You will also be responsible for managing the planning of our mailer samples, gifts with purchase (GWPs), and loyalty rewards. 

What you’ll do: 

In an environment where eCommerce is fast-paced and our customers are a top priority, collaborate with us to ensure that our clients and prospects receive the most timely, relevant, and personalized communications to promote our brand, products, and value. 

  • Manage the US eCommerce and Retail promotional email/SMS (future) calendars, working closely with Web, Marketing, and Client Development teams. 
  • Support the creative optimization of service emails & triggered communications, as well as manage planning of GWPs.
  • Manage the US eComm, Loyalty, & VIP mailer calendars including the planning of samples, GWPs and rewards.
  • Lead the full creative process for emails, mailers, and SMS/MMS and work closely with the CRM Associate Manager and under the supervision of the Director of CRM – from copywriting and design briefs to getting approvals in market. 
  • Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis within the beauty landscape to ensure Clarins' brand remains relevant and impactful within the US market. Utilize insights gained to inform creative briefs and contribute to strategic decision-making.

  • Self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • A multi-tasker who can work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, eCommerce, digital marketing, content marketing, or editorial marketing.
  • Experience managing eCommerce promotional marketing calendars and leading the creative process for email and direct mail assets.
  • Strong storytelling and copywriting skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Email/SMS marketing experience a plus.
  • Loyalty program management a plus.

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000
