Key Responsibilities

To support the financial accounting activities of PPG entities in Thailand in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities included:

• Month end accounting period closing, prepare MJE under local responsibility
• Review and approve account reconciliation and analysis and follow up outstanding > 90 days
• Coordinate with external auditor for statutory audit and preparation of schedules required.
• Maintain internal control for accounting policies and procedures 
• Coordinate with Tax Department for tax compliance and submission of local tax returns (monthly VAT summarization, Corporate Income Tax etc.). and quarterly internal tax returns.
• Preparation of local statutory reports and financial statement.
• Review AP-Interco invoices about the re-charge cost and advise the charge code to Intercompany AP Malaysia.
• Review all re-charge cost in TH and forward to local AR for debit note requisition to AR_Malaysia.
• Preparation of TP document.
• Other Ad Hoc projects assigned by the Manager.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance/Accounting.
• Experienced working in Manufacturing at least 5 years 
• Certified Accountant
• Worked in Audit firm for at least 2 years.
• Advanced Excel user
• Have Power BI experience is a plus
• Audit & Tax requirement
• Good accounting knowledge, internal mark-up elimination concept, triangle invoicing flow, consolidation reporting
• Good understanding End-to-End process of order to delivery, manufacturing, and its system overview
• Understand and able to identify internal control weakness, strengthen control process
• Strong communication skills in Thai and with excellent English
• Understand local legal requirement and regional value content concept
• Skill in using SAP R/3 is a plus
