Job Description

The Systems Analyst for Business Applications – Workday Compensation and Benefits is generally responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Workday and related systems and tools. These systems and tools support the collection, retrieval, access and use of employee information for business planning and activity.

The incumbent may work with a broad range of client groups to evaluate business needs, and then design or modify Workday and related tools to meet changing demands. This role may also be responsible for designing, creating and executing standard reports, and data extracts related to Workday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exercises judgment against established procedures and practices to complete work
  • Recommends improvements and enhancements to existing procedures and practices, and then implements changes with some guidance
  • May help to train others on procedures and practices
  • May be responsible for managing complex projects

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:

  • 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Workday or similar systems (PeopleSoft, Ceridian/HR)
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential data 

PREFERRED:

  • Prior experience with Compensation and Benefits
  • Prior project and test management experience

SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of relational database concepts\
  • Strong user of Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Works with manager or project team leads to prioritize tasks, to meet time schedules and deadlines
  • Able to multi-task in a dynamic and demanding environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within a team, and with client groups, includes speaking, reading, and writing English
