Work Environment 

We are looking for a BIM Modeler to support efficiently the expansion of our activities in Water infrastructures (such as Large & Small Hydroelectric Schemes, Dams, and Reservoirs, Water transfers, River Hydraulics), with a major focus on hydropower and dams’ projects. You will be responsible for the preparation of BIM models and coordinate with all team member to provide deliverables at the highest quality standards within agreed schedule. 

Our projects cover engineering studies, technical due diligences, assistance in project implementation through Owner’s Engineering (incl. Preparation of Tender Design and Specifications), and/or Engineering-Procurement-Construction Management assignments. While your projects are in the Southeast Asian countries with abroad missions possible, your base will be in Tractebel’s office in Bangkok, Thailand.

Missions

• You will report to Head of Water Business Line.
• You will be responsible for the timing and the quality of the BIM model and drawings of our projects:

1. Create drawings of various structures (2D and 3D).
2. Create map and perform basic analysis using geospatial or geodata
3. Create 3D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for marketing or project needs. 
4. Create 3D-model of the structural design (REVIT).
5. Maintain structural BIM/CAD files for use in the structural design drawings (clean-up, audit, reference, troubleshoot).
6. Coordination between the architectural, structural and the technical design.

• University degree in the field of engineering or architecture or professional draftsperson or equivalent qualification.
• Min 2 years of experience in the drawing preparation of Water and Hydropower projects.
• 5-10 years of experience in BIM modelling (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Sketch UP).
• In-depth knowledge with modelling of structural libraries and visual programming preferred.
• Solid skills in the Revit application. 
• Team player, flexible and good organizer.
• Independent, efficient and result orientated. 
• Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and independently as required. 
• Able to use MS Office Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Able to travel on a short mission. 
• Proficiency in Thai and English language.
