Application Engineer will be a part of our interdisciplinary skilled Technical Support Team, working within the financial industry. Will be engaged in application maintenance and change requests support based on ITIL. The main aim of the team is to execute supporting activities and routines related to applications and software base, backup management and monitoring. Multi-level Incident and problem management for both software base and infrastructure services.
Scope of works
- Incident management related to software and/or hardware infrastructure
- Resolving of application related incidents - 2nd and 3rd level
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
- Release management including application and services patching. Databases updates, installation, etc.)
Required Skills
- Communicative German and English (min. B2)
- Knowledge of Java
- Knowledge of SAP (PI, BPE, ChaRM)
- Knowledge of Database solutions e.g. MS SQL/ PL-SQL/ Oracle
- Experience with CMS will be an advantage (e.g. OpenText)
- An understanding of integrated applications
- Reliability and precision at work
