Description

You as a SCM Material Planner will be part of Hitachi Energy High Voltage business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible to align between the planning and SCM departments to ensure smooth and timely flow of materials as per the production plan.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring the submission of all project Supply Chain inputs required to define and issue the Integrated Project Plan.
  • Ensuring the issuing and distribution to the project teams of the planning and logistics relevant docs (Logistic Plan, MPS, Inventory Report, etc.).
  • Ensuring the project material delivery in accordance with the project plan and coordinating all planning and logistics activities.
  • Ensuring the issuing of the Purchase Requests for all materials, external services, packages and subcontractor to ensure project on time delivery.
  • Reviewing project material requirements for project assigned materials.
  • Collaborating with strategic and operational buyer to ensure Purchase Requisitions are converted to Purchase Order on timely manner.
  • Monitoring and tracking Purchase Order Delivery, Order Confirmation, to align with the delivery requirements. Proactively identifying and highlighting potential issues that may cause delays.
  • Working closely with Operational Buyers to ensure material delivery is to be achieved.
  • Maintaining Project Material Status to be updated.
  • Closely Monitoring of Plant Stock, Safety Stock, analyze consumption, minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Generating Daily, Weekly, Monthly Report as required.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of material planning.
  • Must have a minimum 5-10 years’ work experience in materials planning.
  • High ownership and responsiveness of dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Advanced desktop computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.
  • Must be able to work independently with a high degree of motivation and initiative.
  • Must be able to work effectively with others and build relationships.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
