Job Description:

The CRM Product Owner will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and optimization of our CRM platform to meet the needs of our organization. This individual will work closely with the sales operations team to define requirements, thoroughly research new features and applications, and drive the successful delivery of CRM initiatives. This individual will also manage our project backlog and prioritize work based on changing requirements in addition to documenting our processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities and best practices, along with strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Sales Operations Manager for all CRM-related initiatives, working closely with them to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for CRM enhancements and updates, prioritizing features based on business value and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, customer service, and IT to ensure alignment of CRM initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Lead discussions on the configuration, customization, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support business processes and workflows.
  • Conduct regular assessments of CRM performance and user satisfaction, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Manage the backlog of CRM enhancements, epics, and user stories, ensuring clear prioritization and timely delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and best practices in CRM technology, particularly within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Dynamics 365, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Along with the Sales Operations Manager, collaborate with vendors, consultants, and internal IT teams to troubleshoot issues, implement upgrades, and address technical challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement in CRM processes, data quality, and system usability through proactive analysis and feedback mechanisms.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates on CRM initiatives, including key metrics, progress against goals, and upcoming milestones.
  • Champion a customer-centric mindset throughout the organization, advocating for the use of CRM data and insights to drive strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CRM product ownership or similar roles, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Strong understanding of CRM principles, practices, and methodologies, with hands-on experience in CRM implementation and customization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 configuration, administration, and customization tools.
  • Exposure and skills to work with key productivity tools – Microsoft Dynamics 365, SQL, Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving successful CRM initiatives from concept to delivery.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or related CRM technologies are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
