What you will enjoy doing* (DUTIES)

• Responsible for the administration and maintenance of Hyperion Planning, Essbase, FDM and HFM, and maintaining metadata in EPMA. Analyze utilization of Life Cycle Management.
• Ensure monthly close process runs smoothly in HFM, Planning and Essbase applications. Support corporate and remote users with Hyperion applications and Smart View. Work with end users to develop and enhance the application process in a manner that will result in a stable productive environment.
• Participate in the analysis of the efficiency and effectiveness of current departmental processes and procedures and ultimately help to implement identified improvements. Maintain internal and external security policy compliance with the EPM environment.
• Handle special projects and process improvements as determined necessary by management.
• Responsible for ensuring that the monthly close process runs smoothly in the HFM, Planning and Essbase application. Coordinate issue resolution with internal IT and external technical support providers.

What makes you great (REQTS)

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus six (6) years of experience in the position offered, or a related position.
• Employer will accept a Master’s degree in one of the above mentioned fields in meeting the education requirement.
• Must have six (6) years of experience in each of the following: Hyperion EPM, including Planning, Hyperion Financial Data Management FDMEE, and Financial Reporting; Financial analysis and reporting to Finance team and Accounting team; Utilizing automation of Hyperion Essbase cube refreshes using Window Batch/Esscmd MaxL, MDX, Shell Scripts, HAL, and ODI; Working with financial reporting systems and using Hyperion Essbase to develop Financial Budgeting and Forecasting OLAP applications; Heavily Coded Calc Scripts for application enhancements based on business requests; Hyperion Essbase; SmartView with VBA; Hyperion Planning update and performance tuning; Maintaining system security (SOX); Hyperion system upgrade; Oracle; and Hyperion database Performance Tuning.
