The opportunity is to join the North America Corporate and Private Side commodities team covering corporate clients.

As an Executive Director in North America Corporate and Private Side commodities sales, you will support the daily functions of the team in servicing the Metals and Agriculture client base across the commodities complex for all risk management needs.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide best-in-class commodities coverage to corporate metals and agriculture accounts across NA and assist in strengthening the bank's presence with these clients in the commodity markets in both a flow and structured environment
  • Market risk management and commodity finance solutions to the corporate client base
  • Contribute to building a strong presence which challenges the existing competitors in the market place
  • Formulate a marketing strategy and execute it
  • Become “first call” in the sector for their commodity risk management needs

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 

  • Experience in Commodities , product knowledge as well as established contacts within the corporate client community
  • High technical understanding of the products we offer, as well as the ability to develop and service senior client relationships
  • Strong knowledge of the commodities environment; strong analytical skills; ability to execute with skill and urgency; deep knowledge of derivatives and physical markets
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple terms and actionable steps
  • Clear, logical thinker with strong qualitative skill set including effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team player that partners well with colleagues and can work with a diverse group of stakeholders through the various stages of the deal process 
  • Good PowerPoint and Excel knowledge
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
