Overview:

The Business Analytics Sr. Data Architect role is instrumental in providing technical expertise and architectural solutions in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), datasets, and business intelligence. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in measuring the performance of business units and the company at large.

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain the architecture for KPIs, datasets, and business intelligence tools, ensuring they align with Blue Yonder's strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with business leaders of assigned units/functions, advising on metrics, analytics, and proactive business analysis.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and data documentation that support business analytics initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all data platforms and analytics tools.
  • Lead the strategic planning of data architecture to support future business needs and growth.
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities within the areas of responsibility.
  • Lead and potentially manage direct or dotted line reports within the global Business Intelligence Data team.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and analytics, incorporating them into Blue Yonder's strategies as appropriate.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in data architecture, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data architectures.
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, data sets, and business intelligence in a corporate setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to partner effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in supply chain management software solutions is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and Snowflake data model, as well as AI and machine learning technologies used in supply chain operations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tableau or Power BI required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Snowflake preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Databricks required.

The salary range for this position is $119,250.00 to $135,127.00 USD.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
