Join our Northern Europe (EURONORTH) team as a Technical PreSales Consultant to work with a multitude of manufacturing companies across UKI, Nordics and Benelux to improve their business performance using state-of-the-art and AI-ML driven supply chain planning solutions. We are looking to strengthen our international team with expertise in Supply Chain Planning & Optimization (SCPO), especially in the domains of Sales & Operations Planning and Manufacturing Planning and Scheduling. The preferred location for this role is s-Hertogenbosch (NL), but the role can also be based in Stockholm (SE) or Espoo (FI).
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Technical PreSales Consultant you explain and demonstrate the business benefits of our supply chain planning and optimization solutions to our clients and be their trusted advisor for how these companies can drive business value enabled by DELMIA. Your work will focus on renowned manufacturing companies in UKI, Nordics and Benelux. The DELMIA brand include strategic, tactical and operational planning solutions, for instance; integrated business planning, demand forecasting and planning, inventory and supply planning, master production scheduling, and detailed production scheduling and sequencing.

- Lead technical sales engagements using a consultative selling approach
- Translate real-life business and planning challenges and requirements into workable, supportable software models to deliver value beyond the base product, and articulate this in customer situations
- Deliver software demonstrations, tender responses, proof of concepts and management presentations to clients
- Be able to act as trusted adviser and apply storytelling techniques
- Linking pin between Sales and Services, transforming vision into implementation
- Advise clients based on your in-depth understanding of their business processes and your knowledge of our Product Portfolio and Industry Solutions; and map the customers “AS-IS” and “TO-BE” business processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master or PhD in Econometrics and Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, Logistics or other relevant study field
- Demonstrate proven experience and knowledge in Supply Chain Planning processes and systems: demand forecasting, inventory and supply planning, master production scheduling, detailed production scheduling and sequencing
- Knowledgeable in one or more manufacturing industries is advantageous; for instance Aerospace & Defence, Automotive, Industrial Equipment and Consumer Packaged Goods
- Proven experience with software implementations or digital transformations, demonstrating passion and working knowledge on IT solutions
- Previous experience in B2B sales, ideally in enterprise software solutions, cloud, the IT sector, or supply chain management
- A fluent communicator in the English language with an open mindset, people-oriented attitude with a natural curiosity and an entrepreneurial attitude who likes to collaborate and travel on regular basis
