As a Global Senior Buyer, you will play a critical role in IT procurement. You will cover the following categories: Services providers and Software. Your responsibilities will include sourcing, negotiating, and managing relationships with vendors to ensure optimal value for the organization. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives. 

What will you be responsible for?: 

Category management 

• Develop IT category strategies & roadmap with IT & data platform leads. 
• Deliver value for money in accordance with procurement strategy and business plans. 
• Structure a procurement approach to deliver a continuous sustainable productivity per year. 
• Develop connection to market via suppliers, conferences, market studies, benchmarking. 
• Build strong procurement toolkit & methodology. 

Sourcing 

• Source and benchmark global category suppliers on a regular basis. 
• Drive consolidation of spend and negotiation leverage with IT & Data teams. 
• Launch RFI/RFQ to select, engage, and manage supply base for the global categories. 
• Work in collaboration with Legal partner to execute efficient contract. 
• Support IT & Data in purchasing process on critical spend & suppliers relationship management. 

Relationship and stakeholder Management 

• Develop strong relationships with global IT & Data teams & regional/local procurement. 

Supplier Relationship Management 

• Monitor global supplier performance and drive continuous improvement plans. 
• Animate suppliers’ performance with IT & Data; manage disputes. 
• Drive innovation from supplier. 

Procurement Financials 

• Lead cost optimization program on all sourcing category in scope. 
• Track & Monitor savings initiatives. 
• Best In Class procurement
• Support the implementation and the compliance to procurement processes, policies and tools
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives 

Meet your future manager! Your manager will be Charles Coste, Global Category Sourcing Manager IT&Data. 

As an experience IT buyer, you’ll have strong knowledge of the IT world: Services Providers + Software. You’ll have track record of convincing stakeholders to bring success and autonomy & agility to manage multiple initiatives/projects. 

You’ll also have the following background: 

• Strong negotiator, able to lead complex RFQ deals, renewals, and negotiations 
• Adaptable & experience in working in an international environment
• Business acumen & results oriented 
• Solid written and oral communication skills 
• Experience in working remotely with IT business partners 
• Master’s Degree 8 years of experience in IT and/or Cycles and Procurement
• Fluent in English, French/Dutch would be a plus
