Application Development & Support Senior Specialist

The Application Development & Support Senior Specialist IN provides support for the development and deployment of application development projects across complex multi-platform software systems. This job manages large projects and is recognized as the applications development expert on the team that solves complex issues that arise. This job establishes information technology standards and ensures satisfaction across the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the information technology applications.
  • Builds and maintains software application solutions and develops an on-going maintenance process.
  • Ensures support for applications and provides recommendations and high-level planning support for the transition process.
  • Interacts with cross-functional groups within the information technology department and communicates customer requirements.
  • Coordinates technical consultancy assignments and collaborates with application specialists on a variety of projects.
  • Provides technical expertise for application development issues and advises on best technology solutions.
  • Maintains knowledge of state-of-the-art techniques in application development and information technology support.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Experience building bots in AA A360 and IQBOT ( Mandatory )
  • Experience with Cloud & Desktop flow’s in MS Power Platform ( Mandatory )
  • Experience with Python Development (Mandatory)
  • Experience in Power Platform’s: Custom connectors, Gateways
  • Experience with AI Builder in Power Platform ( Preferred )
  • Certifications with RPA platforms (Power Automate ( Must Have ), Automate Anywhere ( Must have ), UiPath, Blue Prism )
  • Experience with PowerBI -( preferred )
  • Certifications with AI and ML ( preferred )
  • Architecting enterprise level applications involving multiple systems, sub-systems, and ERP applications
  • Experience with software development lifecycle, as well as Agile project management methodology
  • Solid Experience architecting and developing AI and machine learning applications
  • Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, persevering and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies
  • Back end web-services: Python, R, Javascript, VBA, Vbscript, Java
  • Machine Learning: TensorFlow, Keras
  • ML Technologies: NLP, Computer Vision, Model Management
  • Big Data technologies: Kafka, Apache Spark, Hadoop
