Rogers Group is seeking candidates for a UTILITY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR position for our quarries located in Cowan, TN, Shelbyville, TN and Fayetteville, TN.

The successful candidate for this role will have experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment – haul truck, wheel loader, dozer, track hoe, skid steer, and others. This individual will also be required to work on the ground and in the plant as needed. They must have a strong commitment to safety excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a dedication to safe work practices.
• At least two years of proficient experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment – haul truck, wheel loader, dozer, track hoe, skid steer, and others.
• Willing and able to work on the ground and in the plant as needed.
• Able and willing to assist with fixed plant maintenance.
• Able to operate heavy equipment with precision and excellence in a variety of terrains and conditions.
• Performing various production duties.
• Complete required daily inspections, light maintenance, greasing, and fueling of heavy equipment.
• May be called upon at the discretion of management to perform any other duties assigned and/or assist other areas as necessary.
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as may be needed.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
